I finished revamping the eight remaining corset sets from the original corset series. All corsets remain unchanged. I added three flexiprim skirt designs for each corset. Most of the flexiprim skirts can be interchangeable with other corsets in the series, though some tweaking may be required.

The revamped sets are Sweet Jane, Supernova, Sesudient, Nemesis, Metropolis. Entropy, Lorelei and Dazzle

We’re still renovating the store. The basic structure is done, its just down to the details and texturing.

Yesterday, WFMZ, Channel 69 in Lehigh valley, PA aired the first of their three-part series on the 5:30 News on Second Life.

I am very please to announce the date and the location of the 2007 SLCC. This year we will be gathering on August 24-26th in Chicago. Now I know a lot of you were thinking October … however the entire city was sold out of meeting space and the few hotel rooms that were open were very expensive.  The board took into consideration the entire event experience and worked for weeks finding the location that has the best combination of room rates, guest services, technology support, at the best price for you! We selected a property that meet our collective needs best. We took a lot of time pouring over feedback from the San Francisco 2006 SLCC and used that as our starting point.

We will release registration details and hotel rooming information in the weeks to come. We can share that the cost of registration will be in the range of $165 – $195 and will include breakfast snacks and lunch on both Saturday and Sunday as well as some awesome musical performances and conference materials.  The event is being held at the Hilton Chicago and the hotel rates with our block is $159 per night before tax. THE ROOM BLOCK IS NOT SET UP YET SO PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO BOOK A ROOM AT THIS RATE YET! We are all very excited about SLCC 2007 and will get you all details as soon as we have them.

I decided to revamp some of my pre-flexi prim best sellers this weekend. I started with the series of corsets that I originally designed back in the Fall of 2005. The original corsets remain unchanges, but I added three flexiprim skirt designs for each corset. Most of the flexiprim skirts can be interchangeable with other corsets in the series though it may require a little prim tweaking depending on the cut of the corset as some are longer than others.

The revamped sets so far are Allegory, Rhapsodie, Interlude, Steelrose, Vienna and Gaudete. The rest of the corsets from the series will be redesigned and revamped shortly. All sets are available first at Deadly Nightshade Design Studio in Indigo

If you are local in the Eastern Pennsylvania region, Channel 69 WFMZ is airing a three-part series during the 5:30pm news Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (Feb 21, 22 and 23th) on Second Life. Flipper and I were both interviewed in person and in world and will be featured on the news segment.

For those not local to Eastern Pennsylvania, the piece should be available online shortly as well.

As of this morning, barring any major disasters, we have selected the dates and hotel location for the SLCC 2007. The official announcement will be made once we hammer out the “fine print” details and speak with our attorney.

Flipper and I are still involved in advising the convention planning, but really have taken a back seat and let the other organizers run with it this year. We were and are still burned out from taking the lead on the first two conventions.

Lately I found myself mixing and matching various pieces of outfits I made in the past to make new outfits that appear very different from the original. Occasionally, I would modify a clothing piece or whip up something new real quick to bring the new creation together as a whole.

Today, since I had a wonderful day off due to inclement weather, I decided to package up a few of these new Remixed outfits for sale. I am very pleased with the outcome. Though the most frustrating part is trying to find original files to modify because I am not very organized in that area.

Official Second Convention Announcement on Second Citizen

I am still enjoying my hiatus from Second Citizen, though I did pop by to check out a few posts this week. One of which is for the Second Convention in March headed up by Zatzai Asturias. I’m looking forward to seeing more and more resident run Second Life related community events and conventions happening both in the real world and in SL despite what the “critical blogsters” have to say about it.

Personally, I would love to be able to attend multiple Second Life conferences a year in varying locations hosted by different individuals, groups or companies. As the world grows, this is becoming more and more necessary. I was very excited to hear that there are plans of  a European SLCC in Amsterdam this summer.

I wish Zatzai the best of luck on this endeavor and maybe we can impart some wisdom and ideas for the SLCC in-world convention.
