TROUBLE EVERYDAY to play live from Philadelphia. On June 8th, 2007 at 6pm SLT, the band Trouble Everyday will perform live from their studio in Philadelphia for a special night of music in Second Life. Kyle Costill, Darren Morze, Mike the Dude and Brian Sprenger are all Philadelphia natives. The band has gained significant popularity in Los Angeles and the United Kingdom. Members have toured with Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction, Stellastar*, and The Killers. Their debut album, “On the Way to Disaster,” was released in April 2007 on the UK record label Vacuous Pop and will be available – including shipping – for a limited offer of L$2000 after the show.

The quartet produces a powerful sound, a mix of indy rock, punk and pop. If you’re a fan of Jane’s Addiction, Lusk, My Bloody Valentine, Modest Mouse, or Snow Patrol, this may be a band you enjoy. Phreak Radio is being kind enough to run the stream, and in addition to anyone who does not already run Phreak Radio, we’d like to extend the invite to tune into the live stream at http://listen.phreak-radio.com

The SL show will be simulcast in (at least) three places: Phreak Isle, Indigo (90, 90) and Olive (240,240). Feel free to stop by any location to check it out; the band themselves will have their avatars playing in sync with them at the Phreak Isle location.

Long-time live music aficionado FlipperPA Peregrine will emcee the show. The format will be similar to the “World Cafe” show with David Dye; in between songs, the band will be encouraged to tell an amusing anecdote or two. Many other notables, such as Moo Money (Machinima), Nethermind Bliss (Avatars), Alexa Lioncourt (Building/Effects), Joris Xi (Building/Effects), CrowCatcher Valen (Station Management), Taco Rubio (Station Management) and Jennyfur Peregrine (General Advisor) have been key in putting this event together. So tune in, enjoy the pop/punk mix, and say hello to the future of music in SL. See you at the show!
